About Me

My passion in teaching has led to tutoring three of my peers during my GCE A-Level programme. With my assistance, they managed to secure A to A* in Economics, with average marks of 78/100. My teaching pedagogy revolves around nurturing an in-depth understanding of concepts in tutees, so they are prepared to tackle any high-order thinking skills questions. Besides passionately solving issues and providing exercises to tutees on topics that they are weak in, I would share the techniques which I used in acing my examinations. These include using mnemonic in Biology to memorise effectively (this does not mean that I support rote learning but rather hone both accuracy and speed when answering) and active recall (which is scientifically proven to help students grasp and retain information better).
